On Wednesday 22nd March, rice salad was served in our class. Teachers and LSA's served as waiters and all students had a wide variety of healthy food to choose from.
In our class we promote healthy food, always. And we recommend everybody reading this to do the same and eat healthily.

Carnival 2012

Carnival at school was a memorable day. First we had a special morning assembly where teachers came out in costume. Then we did masks decorating in class. This was followed with a great class-party thanks to food everyone chose to bring. After the break watched a nice movie and at 1pm we had entertainment from local singer Gianni. More entertainment was waiting for us inside the school hall where we had magics and lots lots more.
P.S: Ah, and we had some beautiful costumes in class too. See pics above and below :)

Dear Parents...
Welcome to Year 4. This will be a positive year for your child as we will be building on past successes and learn new things. Whenever home and school work together, your child’s chances of improvement in social skills and academically will be strengthened. Briefly, here is some useful information about our class.
School starts at 8:30am. Students must be punctual and proceed to line-up with the rest of the class for the morning assembly.
Very soon, I will forward to you a detailed time-table with specific slots dedicated to music, P.E and other lessons that require certain equipment or clothing. Please be sure your child has everything in order on such days.
Each day, your child will bring his/her home folder that contains homework and other notes. It is important that you check this everyday and make sure that tasks at home are done every day. Please support and talk with your child about the importance of completing this homework. Homework tasks, usually, do not take up more than 45-50 minutes.
After the first day at school your child will be bringing you a sheet that explains copybooks that we use in our class. Check that out too and make sure that everything is in order.
I look forward to work closely with you all and to have a successful school-year.

Feeling good during Christmas..
Christmas time for our students means feeling good by making others feel good too! That is what we did on Friday 17th December when we visited the old people's home at Apap Institute in our home town of St. Venera. During our visit, we sang christmas carols and also presented the residents with special christmas crafts done at school with the help of our PSD teachers. One of our students - Jacob - said: 'When I grow old, me too would like to come to stay at this home!' An unforgettable day for our students and for all the residents inside Apap Institute too.

Christmas Concert - December 2010
In front of the rest of the school, our class gave an excellent performance during our School Christmas concert. This annual concert gives an opportunity to all students to go on stage. Our class took part with a play called 'L-aħbarijiet tal-Milied' (Christmas news). A big well done goes to all the students who studied hard their part and went on stage well prepared. The applause received at the end of the play was well deserved!

Dea, our first Student of the Month
Dea Rodrigues Fernandes has been elected as our first Student of the Month for the October. Kylie, Michela, Liam, Cheyenne & Maya were all worthy runners-up.
Dea has worked hard throughout the whole past month. Her hand-writing is one of the neatest in class and her behaviour was one of the best too. As an award, she received a certificate and a small book. "Being student of the month of my class, I felt very happy," said Dea.
On behalf of all our class, congratulations Dea.

Our first outing of the year...

There we saw what an Agape Table really looks like, some frescos (wall paintings) and we even saw some of the oldest cemetries in our country. After that, we walked to the beautiful Howard Gardens in Rabat where we stopped for a short break.
